1875 Galata Hotel
A Timeless Restoration in the Heart of Istanbul. Originally built in 1875 by three brothers as separate residences, this historic structure in Galata, Istanbul, was unified into a single building in 1970. In 2012, Sait Arslan Architects embarked on a meticulous restoration journey to preserve its architectural heritage while seamlessly integrating modern elegance. The restoration was completed in 2014, revealing original masonry textures that required eight months of specialized craftsmanship.
Today, 1875 Galata Hotel offers 15 uniquely designed rooms, each with its own distinctive layout and character. The restoration project also includes a welcoming reception area and a charming café on the ground floor.
This project stands as a testament to timeless design, celebrating the rich history of Galata while offering contemporary comfort and sophistication.
