CO Creative Agency Offices
This project is an exemplary fusion of adaptive reuse and contemporary workspace design, where historical heritage meets modern creativity. The CO Creative Agency headquarters, built on the remnants of a presumed Ottoman hammam, seamlessly integrates preserved ruins with sleek modern interventions, fostering a dialogue between the past and the present.
The design prioritizes open-plan workspaces, encouraging collaboration and fluidity among the nearly 45 employees. Industrial elements, such as a steel structural framework and microcement flooring, reinforce a raw, urban aesthetic, while exposed stone walls add a sense of timeless character. The removal of gypsum drywalls was a key decision, unveiling the historic ruins and allowing them to become an integral part of the workspace’s visual and textural narrative.
A dynamic tribune-style staircase serves multiple purposes—functioning as a circulation element, staff meeting area, and social hub—enhancing the communal experience. The neon sculpture provides a striking contemporary contrast, guiding movement towards the photo studio. Plywood furniture, paired with mirrored accents, introduces an organic yet sophisticated material palette, playing with reflection and perception to amplify the space.
The spatial organization accommodates diverse functions, including administrative offices, a photography studio, an event zone, and a transformable meeting area with sliding partitions. The inclusion of an outdoor event space further expands the creative potential of the agency, blurring the boundaries between work and social engagement.
